The sixth work of the Arctic plein air 2019.
The artist marked the fifth day of the plein air with shock work. Probably, he was inspired by the tireless gulls of the Salny Island).
This work was painted from life in the Kola Bay. In a secluded bay near Cape Retinsky, a huge oil storage tanker is moored, Russian oil is regularly discharged into it. Everything would be fine, but a foreign tanker filled with ballast water comes for Russian oil. This dirty oil water (200 and more thousand tons!) Is unloaded by a foreign tanker into the Kola Bay every week! This kills fish and other animals in the bay. The canvas depicts the moment when one tanker brought oil, and the other was already filled with oil, and between them a storage tanker. These three floating bandits I wanted to lock up, which I did in my work.

Мои дорогие,я в восторге от видов Русского Севера,от ваших стремлений запечатлеть с одной стороны - суровость,с другой - широту и раздолье,и простоту быта.Самые верные друзья и самоотверженные люди,закалившиеся в северных условиях.Не зря ОпульсаС.М .тянуло на север,понимая,что можно вдохнуть эту атмосферу,противоположное ему.,южанину,с среднеазиатской (восточной)культурой.В своих картинах он описывает многостороннюю,многоликую жизнь,охватывающую традиции и менталитет в разных частях Земли.Я вам желаю в дальнейшем побывать еще в неизведанных местах.И очень хочется,что бы покупались его картины,наполненные многообразием жизни,радуйте себя и близких.
